Chris Bruce

Prior to Blacktower, Chris worked with a major actuarial consultancy and a leading investment and banking group. Chris has achieved the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate, with distinction.

Chris, along with the financial planning team, advises both high net worth individuals and business owners on how best to achieve their financial goals.

As Managing Director of Blacktower, Chris is also constantly seeking to improve our overall proposition to clients.

Beverley Ham

Prior to Blacktower, Beverley was a senior commercial mortgage underwriter with a major insurance company. Beverley heads the commercial mortgage team, giving corporate clients and investors a comprehensive financing service.

Beverley was awarded Overall Mortgage IFA and Commercial Mortgage IFA of the year in 2004 by the Financial Times publication Financial Adviser.

Beverley is, by examination, an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, and holds the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice.

Chris Mann

Chris has been working in the industry for many years, having previously worked for Friends Provident and Scottish Equitable.

Chris has extensive experience of dealing with all aspects of pensions and employee benefits.

Chris holds a Diploma from the Personal Finance Society, having passed the G10, G60, K10 K20 & CF9 papers. Chris is also an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Derek Prentice

Derek has worked in financial services since 1978, originally for a major life office before becoming an IFA in 1989. He started with Kingston Smith Financial Services in 1998 and, following the merger between Kingston Smith and Blacktower, Derek became a director of Blacktower in January 2007.

Derek holds both the Financial Planning Certificate and the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate including the specialist pensions paper, G60, which allows him to advise in specialist areas such as pension benefit transfers. Derek is a member of the Personal Finance Society by diploma.
